Tongnan

 
Following a year of discussions and initial studies with the Tongnan government in Chongqing, contracts were signed in December 2007 for an integrated venture to establish a 26,600-hectare (ha) plantation for a high-density fibreboard (HDF) mill of 300,000 cubic metres annual capacity.

Detailed analysis and planning continues alongside initial trial plantings of eucalyptus species. The establishment of a large nursery was completed in August 2009 in readiness for first large-scale plantings in 2010.
