Indonesia's Minister for Forestry, M.S. Kaban, continues to show his support for the company's local forestry ventures. The minister this month made a third visit to the nursery and proposed planting sites, developed for Sunshine Technology by Carbon Positive, in the Nusa Tenggara province.

Minister Kaban had also returned to Sumbawa to inspect and officially open the local mosque rebuilt with Carbon Positive's assistance.

The Minister showcased the company's forestry project to a number of VIPs during his second visit in early March, when he planted the first tree seedling in the field. His first visit in late November 2007 included a meeting with local villagers at Oi Saro on Sumbawa and an inspection of the company's nursery where thousands of tree seedlings are being grown.
